3. Internship Options

A. Self-Sourced Internship

• Present a formal request letter from the company to the school.
• Letter must be on official letterhead, stating the student’s name, role, dates, and supervisor.
• The school will verify and approve the placement.

B. School-Assisted Internship

• Report to the school in person to apply for placement.
• School will share available partner companies and match based on relevance.

4. Application Requirements

• Completed internship registration form.
• Passport-sized photograph.
• Printed CHES Internship Log Book (provided digitally).
• Signed Internship Code of Conduct Agreement.

5. Log Book Guidelines

• Students must print and update their log books daily with:
• Tasks completed
• Skills learned
• Supervisor comments
• Weekly reflection
• Supervisor must sign log book weekly.
• Signed log book is required for certification.

6. Internship Rules & Regulations

Professional Conduct

• Uphold CHES values: Godliness, Integrity, Professionalism, Creativity.
• Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory.
• Unexcused absence may lead to disqualification.

Dress Code

• Follow the company’s dress code or maintain professional dressing.

Reporting & Communication

• Report any issues to the CHES Internship Coordinator immediately.
• Mid-point check-in report required in Week 2.

End of Internship Requirements

• Completed and signed log book.
• One-page reflection/report.
• Company evaluation form (by supervisor).
• Digital certificate issued upon successful completion and submission.

8. Important Notes

• Interning with family-owned businesses requires special approval.
• No internship changes allowed without valid reason and written request.
• Internship does not guarantee employment but offers real industry experience.
